I have a vest which didn't take too well to being washed in my mother in laws washer and became very very bobbled and full of lint. Suffice to say i was very disappointed but this lil beauty has completely rid my vest of all the lint and is like new again (yay)
I actually couldn't believe something so simple works so well and at such a cheap price too.
Before purchasing i had thought about buying one of those bobble off contraptions but decided against it, purely because electricals break, and combs don't. Also with this comb you can control your strokes and pressure on your garment.
I placed my vest over the ironing board to treat it, as that way you can concentrate on each single piece of fabric rather than battling with the underside as you treat the top layer. A few simple strokes of the comb and you can pretty much see an improvement straight away.
I couldn't recommend this item highly enough.

This humble looking comb is much more effective than the electric one I own. It successfully handles all manners of materials without much effort on my part. It also takes less time than the electric one for a better result... This is the one to buy!

Honestly i've tried using roller lint before, and it didnt collect as much as i expected it to be although its sticky nature, regardless that it takes time to comb it over, i still consider this a great alternative especially when i find it very annoying that the coat or leggings im using weren't smooth, it helps 100% wont ruin the fabric no matter how many times you comb it over.

Big Thumbs UP

The only reason I haven't given 5***** is because it would be really helpful to get a mini user guide, even just a link to a youtube video or something. Initially I thought this was useless, but when I had a go at a jumper lying flat on the floor it suddenly clicked. There is definite technique to defuzzing with this comb, and I find light choppy fast strokes do the job, rather than long heavy strokes (which is what I was doing initially). Worked great on pure lambswool with bobbles all along the seams, although I think I'll try a few other fabrics before taking it to cashmere. However I have more trust in this comb than my electric bobble remover, as the latter can make a hole if it snags whereas there is damage limitation with this.

The design and quality of the actual product that arrived is somewhat different to the on in the picture.

The metal part is not a lattice as the picture shows but a simplified folded metal wire grate. Already in the process of production, the coating cracks and wire breaks where it bends, and the outcome are bare metal spikes along the edge of the comb. It's damaged before you get it.

I thought this was just my bad luck. I requested a replacement and I immediately got another one - sadly, of the same design(material used)and quality, and as poor performance.

This does a reasonable job on a strong woolen tightly woven fabric, like a coat or some blankets. But do not try using it on a knitted garnment. The metal spikes will hook up and pull the yarn. You will be sorry.

For the latter I would recommend the PONY wool comb with a completely different design of the metal part of the comb. It is made of a flat porous well coated lattice, not a wire grate. I have just tested it and will stick to it.

Bought two of these of different brands. This was the cheaper one by Chef Aid and was by far the best at taking the piles and knobbles off my clothing items. A little difficult to get the hang of at first but found laying clothing item down on a flat surface holding firmly with one hand and brushing comb away with other worked a treat in restoring clothing.

Works much better than other more expensive options, takes a bit of work but the results are good. Very pleased!

By my side as I write this review is a huge pile of bobble! Any recyclers of bobble out there? I couldn't be happier with a product. It is simple and IT WORKS! Just need to supply your own energy and in no time your will see results. It may have taken me 5 - 10 minutes tops to make a sweater bobble free. Very satisfying it was to use this comb. One tip would be to keep clearing the comb of bobble/lint as you use it. No need to purchase items that have parts or need batteries or charging - this works and it works very very well.
