This DVD was released in 1989,lasts 80 mts and is in stereo and Widescreen. Ted Johnson (keith Cooogan) and his sister Susan (lucy Deakins) arrive in Kenya for holiday to meet their parents working in Kenya. They meet Morogo (Collin Mothupi), a Maasai Boy and become friends. They find a cheetah cub, whoes mother was killed by poachers. The Johnsons take them home and raise the cheetah , now called Duma. It was time for the children to go back to USA, but they were not keen to let Duma go.
The local shop keeper, Patel (Kuldeep Bhakoo), wants to buy the cheetah and race it against grey hounds at Nairobi to make money. So he and Abdulla(Paul Onsongo), steal the cheetah and take him out to country near Thomson's Falls. The Johnson parents take the children to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, but they run away to look for Duma. Morogo comes with them and the go to Naivasha and Hell's Gate. They are discovered by the gamblers and locked in the same cage , they had locked Duma. The gamblers head towards Nairobi for the cheetah race. The johnson parents and Morogo's parents join together to look for their children.
They all meet at the race in Nairobi and try to rescue the cheetah and release it in the wild, before going home to California.
