Caught four rats in 3 days,in my loft. These traps are the best because the rat can only access the food from one direction.
Wooden or other types of trap,are let down because the rat can access the trap from any direction. More ever than not setting the trap off before it has its head on the block.

So easy to set, easily tripped as the animal tries to get bait (peanut butter is best) out of the cup, I recommend these traps. Also good for catching the field mice in my workshop (caught two at once on either side of the bait trap the other day!). In between use keep out of the damp or the spring gets a bit rusty, which may compromise its future effectiveness.

These are to most successful traps I have evr used and I have tried electronic ones standard wooden ones poison etc. Only the standard wooden one ever managed to catch a rat after many weeks set. And was a pain (literally) to set up and remove rat afterwards. These have only been set for 3 hours and already has caught one big rat. Also was a piece of cake to dispose of the rat without getting fingers trapped or dirty. Have reset it in minutes and now wait for the next casualty.

Easy to set, viciously effective

Quick, efficient, does the job

Pretty good.
