It looked as if the remaining seasons of Cheers were destined to remain region 1 only, leaving region 2 fans disappointed and frustrated.
So a big thank you to the powers at Paramount for releasing seasons 8 and 9. Let's hope that the final two seasons aren't far behind!

I love Cheers and had watched the first 7 seasons and they stopped releasing them then suddenly they released the last four (8-11) They are great if they are your cup of tea but not everyone would think so!I think you should look for the first series if you were at all interested and see how you go. For me it is my favourite comedy

Some of the episodes are great some are weaker, it's starts to show that the serie might have gone for too long..But must say I enjoyed watching most of it.

Best comedy sitcom ever
Always good. Us olt timers watched this on TV many moons ago and have enjoyed reliving the superb series again. Amazon is definitely the place to shop for nostalgia of this genre.
