Having greatly enjoyed Up In Smoke, Next Movie and Nice Dreams I decided to track down some of the Cheech and Chong films I had missed. Their fourth movie Things Are Tough All Over gained the accolade Worst Movie I Have Ever Seen, though it held onto the title for just one day. Get Out Of My Room is far, far worse. From the first minute you just can sense that this is going to be an endurance feat. Basically some rather dire unfunny songs, patched together with some pseudo-documentary this is completely devoid of humour. I an curious how the duo which could turn out 3 exceptional comedy movies could fall so far so quickly...

Unfortunately this film is no where near as good as "Up in smoke" I was unable to get through more than 20 minutes before giving up! Its a shame to see such talent dwindling to create such sub standard work.

Cheech and Chong are one of the greatest comedy duos of all time. Their right up there with the likes of Laurel and Hardy or Morcombe and Wise. They are the ultimate comedy partnership for the spaced out generation. They have made some classic comedys such as Nice Dreams or Still Smokin and "Get out my room" is right up their with their other great films. This is exactly what you would expect from the duo. Cheech and Chong inspired many of todays top comedy acts with their humour and this film truely is one of their best.
