Product Description

The Titan is the behemoth of laptop bags, designed with a ton of unique features and accents that set it apart from the crowd. Everki constructed this bag using high-quality materials that offer your expensive equipment ample protection without sacrificing visual appeal and a surplus of useful pockets leave the Titan well-suited to satisfy even the most organized traveler. The Titan stores laptops up to 18.4" in a softly padded and felt-lined compartment that opens a full 180 degrees for easy access and allows you to breeze through airport security checkpoints without having to remove your device. Even with a full load, the Titan keeps your back and shoulders comfortable with soft padding and deep airflow channels that work to improve circulation, and the bag helps to maintain balance with its 5-point balance strap system and fully adjustable chest strap. In addition to its laptop compartment, the Titan features a spacious main storage area with large, zippered pockets, dividers to separate peripherals from files and documents, and a soft, felt-lined pocket appropriately sized for your iPad, Kindle, or other Tablet PC. Another compartment at the front of the bag offers the Titan's proud owner plenty of slots to store business cards, writing utensils, or any other necessary gadgets or accessories, as well as a pocket to stash the Titan's included weather cover. Users of the Titan will enjoy the convenience of an additional small stowaway pocket, built into its durable nylon exterior that blends in with the bag's sleek design. Everki outfitted this pocket with a soft, scratch-free lining to help you keep your portable media player or mobile phone safe and sound. A cable outlet lets you set your desired length of cord to reduce slack and eliminate the threats of tangling and breakage, and works double-duty to prevent dust or rain from sneaking in.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptionally Good Bag 21 May 2014
Verified Purchase
As many reviewers have commented, there are very few backpacks with laptop compartments that can take large laptops above 17.3 inches, much less an Asus laptop (g750) with a max height of just under 6cm.

The laptop will fit in the laptop compartment snuggly. It is best to lead with the fatter end though. As the laptop has rubber feet, I am concerned that over time, it may damage the lining but we will see.

Pros:
1. It is a really good bag for a student or office worker as there is a good laptop compartment and lots of other pockets for pens, files, music players, chargers, external hard disks etc.
2. It is comfy. The back is nicely padded and the shoulder straps are very comfortable, along with the chest strap.
3. The construction of the bag seems very solid and dependable. It can get very heavy quickly so I would recommend not carrying it on just one shoulder strap.
4. Good zips, solid and easy to hold and open
5. The side clips help the pull the back of the backpack towards your own back to improve weight distribution. Most useful.
6. The price. It depends on your viewpoint really as 130 seems a lot for a backpack. However, this is a backpack to carry around electronics worth 10-20 times its value and I think this is the point; a quality backpack to protect your expensive gear. Plus as other reviewers have said, there is a lifetime warranty which is a huge perk.

Cons
1. Would like the laptop compartment to be a touch bigger and perhaps even elasticated to help with the really large laptops but this is a minor comment.
2. This is not so much a 'con' but an observation. Although it is a big bag, it is well sub-divided so is not like a hiking bag or anything like that. It is principally intended for the transportation of valuable electronic equipment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome bag 10 Dec 2011
Verified Purchase
I recently got an Alienware M18X and soon realised it wouldn't fit in my current bag which I was using for my previous Dell XPS M1730 laptop, so I came across Everki in my search for a bag.

I initially found the Everki Beacon laptop bag but read reviews and saw pictures which proved that the laptop just wouldn't fit properly. The Everki Titan however DOES fit the M18X very well. It's a snug fit in the laptop compartment (which by the way, is super soft, furry and well padded) and the bag is able to zip up around it easily. There is a load of pockets on the bag too which can hold pretty much everything you would ever want to take out with you and your laptop. It also includes a rain cover which is elasticated, so you can clip it around the entire bag for rainy days. The whole build quality and design of the bag is excellent. I cannot fault it at all apart from the high price, but you get what you pay for and in this case you also get a lifetime guarantee.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well-made, big enough, well-compartimented 15 Nov 2013
Verified Purchase
Pros:
- sturdy and well-made
- lifetime warranty
- big enough for mobile workstations, gaming laptops (not only does it have a generous surface size, it also fits thick lappies)
- many, many compartments which will cater for all your needs (but you will need some time to get used to them and find their best purpose)
- adjustable, can make it seem lighter even when it's over 12kg, like it usually is for me.

Con:
- Only good for laptops and accessories. It's build structure won't allow you to go hiking or shopping with it. All compartments are very specific. You'll find it fills up very fast when you put anything else than computer, tablets, books and documents inside. Definitely not a daytrip backpack.

RANT: the 'checkpoint-friendly' thing is a dream. EVERY DAMN AIRPORT I've been to in Europe has security people that require you to take the laptop out of the bag, even if you fully open and separate the main backpack from the laptop compartment. Has nothing to do with the bag, I still love it, but I'm really fed up with airport security.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very large, could be stronger 17 Oct 2012
By Flum

Size: This is one seriously big bag - but I imagine if you're considering it, you already know that.

Quality: The outside shell is strong and will not tear easily. The insides are slightly more delicate - with minimal use the inside area in the laptop section has frayed a little bit. Its not a big deal, but for this price, I would have thought this should not happen so soon.

Use: Lots of nooks and crannies - MANY pockets erveyrwhere - it becomes a bit fiddly and i often find it difficult to access certain pockets when the bag is full, because inner fillings press awkwardsly onto outer pockets. I have successfully carried a 5kg bag of oats in the laptop section and it was comfy and manageable!

Cons: There is a cardboard backing inside the back area which makes a 'board' noise when the bag isnt full. This makes it sound and feel cheap and flimsy, though it is not. Really annoying.

Overall: 6.5/10 - I would not buy this unless I REALLY needed a bag this size. Its not as strong as I would have hoped, and its unusually large for a laptop bag.

EDIT (24 Jan 2013): So I just wanted to increase the level of praise for this bag and the warranty. The bag is super strong - I did mention that. I also mentioned the little frayed bit inside... and this got worse over time. So I got in touch with the seller, and sent some photos. They simply sent me a new bag, no issues with admin, no paper work - just one email with photos! That's some legendary customer service - and it appears that this Lifetime Warranty is totally genuine and excellent.

I think I will only buy Everki - because its like buying a Briggs and Riley suitcase - buy one, lifetime warranty - no need to ever buy a new one again! Wow. Buy it.

New Overall: 8.5/10. Which means 5 stars to me!
