This is very complicated, and takes several hours to get going. It's a very enjoyable process, except for one particular type of piece which broke repeatedly. Luckily lots of spares of that one are included. Children under 8 might find it quite frustrating, and need considerable help.

Once it's built it's hypnotically, rhythmically fascinating. It takes up quite a large space however, and the slightest disturbance will mean it needs rebuilding, or at the least, adjusting. This biggest one might be one for the big boys!

It is a good value for the money, although the issue is that one has to leave it built together and the parts tend do get worn out quickly.
Some of the components cannot be easily put together by children <12yrs, so be prepared to help out there. Also the 3D drawings (despite their multiple perspectives) might be quite challenging sometimes.

Bought for my daughter - no way she'd have managed to build it, I struggled a bit.
But end result very good !
