This model is ace. Its huge, and quite beautiful, sturdy for a model ('durability' - its not for 'playing' with, its a model made of card covered foam). My 7 year old son spent hours and hours on it, and the result is amazing. We have lots of these 3D foam models - Empire State Building is a good one too, and chrysler building, taj mahal and notre dame cathedral. Eifel tower is a bit rubbish, and have not bothered with big ben as it looks easy. Tower bridge is currently under construction, but looks flimsy compared to this baby! - the best by a long long way. Get it if your child likes models and model making. Needs concentration, and there will be bits everywhere for a while so make sure you have a lot of floor space, but its a brilliant item - sits on mantle piece and is admired by all! MOney well spent.

We decided to try this as reviews on the series made us hopeful that at last there was a glueless model kit that wasn't flimsy.
We were not disappointed this kit beats the jigsaw themed 3d structures hands down !!
Daughter has just built the main tower and she says the material is really strong and all the parts fit together really neatly.
We started out looking at the Tower Bridge model but decided we just had to get St Basil's first, we will be buying other kits to see us through the long winters night.
Delivery and packaging was excellent too

My kids (10 and 12) love these, they are all over the house. We've got quite a few now of which St Basil's is probably the pick of the crop. It's really bright and quite intricate. These are something the children will want to do together but sometimes require a grown up for the more fiddly bits, fortunately there aren't too many of them. They are made out of a foam board which is quite resilient but ocasionally some of the more delicate bits can bend or snap when removing them. No tools are required although something small and pointy helps removing the pop out pieces. Each model comes with a small booklet giving some interesting facts about the subject as well as the instructions for building which are pretty straight forward. Cheatwell's prices are pretty good, you can pick up some of these models for pocket money and delivery was excellent
