Chatter Chatter English really is something different. It consists of two multimedia CDs produced by language experts Eurotalk and a complete course in introductory English written by education experts Sherston. It includes worksheets, flash cards and masses of games to make learning fun, all presented in a high quality A4 book. Two multimedia CD-ROMs, one for building vocabulary, the other for focused practical activities on topics such as Greetings, Food, Time, Animals, Numbers, Colours, The Body, Shopping and Countries.
The CD-ROMs include voice recording and playback facilities, record keeping and lots of motivating activities.
In addition to English, the Talk Now CD-ROM includes 70 other languages, including many of those spoken in the home by children learning English as an additional language. They include Asian languages such as Bengali, Gujarathi, Hindi, Punjab and Urdu; African languages like Arabic, Aricaans and Yoruba and European languages like Albanian, Czech and Ukrainian. The CD presents new words to the learner both in English and the other chosen language. Words are presented as pictures and as written text, and are also spoken.
On completion of the course, you should have gained a secure vocabulary and be able to chat about a range of everyday subjects.
