Delighted with this product - it works very well on my gas hob. Trick is to make sure it is really hot before starting to grill. Do not oil the pan, you can oil the meat or whatever you are cooking lightly and do not move the meat around on the grill until it has had time to seal, otherwise it will stick - leave it for at least 2 minutes. It is quite small - I can only fit two largeish steaks on mine - which is why I bought a second one and use them side by side on two burners when I am cooking for more than two people. They can be washed in the dishwasher and I do use metal tongs to move the meat around.

Have a big one but this one is ideal for three of us. Veg, Meat, fish anything goes on it!

Wish it deeper,

I was looking for a cast iron grill pan which is not extremely heavy. This product looked just right on the amazon site. It arrived very soon and the weight was OK just as I expected. However, only then I realized the given sizes were for outer, not for the grilling part, thus it was much smaller than expected. The main issue is its depth. It is so shallow that when I tried a steak, the oil was spread everywhere on the hob. I will keep it for a side pan and am going to buy a proper grill pan next.
