Why Cast Iron? Cast iron is an excellent conductor of heat which ensures an even heat distribution on all heat sources including induction. Why French Cast Iron? Quite simply it's the best. The Ardennes region of France has been manufacturing premium quality cast iron cookware for generations. Why Chasseur? Chasseur Cast iron is all hand crafted for consistent quality with a double coating of enamel. The primer coat seals the body while the coloured top coat not only provides an attractive appearance but also adds to the durability of the product and allows easy cleaning. The Chasseur range consists of Round and Oval Casseroles, Saucepans, Oval and Rectangular Serving Dishes and Roasters, Pate terrines, numerous Frypans and Grillpans plus Woks and Fondues. Why Serving Dishes? Can be used on the hob, in the oven and under the grill for cooking and/or roasting plus ideal for serving. The attractive colourful appearance means they can go straight from the cooker to the table where due to the heat retention of the Cast Iron they will keep your food warm for second helpings. And when you've cooked and served they are easy to clean either in the dishwasher or in hot soapy water.

    this super 'CLASSIC' set from Chasseur, in CHILLI RED.

    Service à fondue en fonte.

    'Chasseur cast iron cookware simply offers professional quality at reasonable prices.'

    Overall base diameter c 17 cm/ pot diameter c 16 cm.

    Supplied with chrome plated steel fondue burner(adjustable), which is suitable for both Firestar Fuel or methylated spirits (neither is included for safety reasons) - an INVICTA Fondue Burner operating instruction leaflet is enclosed.

    This boxed set also includes 6 wooden handled fondue forks, c 24 cm in length, with coloured end discs for easy identification.
    Pot is dishwasher safe and being cast iron it can be used on the hob, under the grill or in the oven prior to popping on the burner, but don't forget the oven gloves!

    10 year guarantee.
    Comes complete with the 'Chasseur ribbon of authenticity`, and a handy little 'Chasseur' usage/care booklet, which includes a recipe idea for each product range, in this case one for 'La Fondue Savoyarde' - 'The Savoyarde Fondue'.
