This frying pan has a wonderful depth and the weight means that it doesnt travel all over the hob while you are stirring. I would say that the colour is closer to buttermilk than cream but not so far off that it matters.
Please consider buying a handle sleeve for this pan as it gets extremely hot. Being all metal it can also go into the oven and under the grill which is handy and cuts down on the washing up - always a boon in our house.
I have noticed that these pans require a far lower temperature so fuel is saved. Not inexpensive but well worth the investment.

I love this pan. It cooks food very fast and stays hot for longer. I like knowing that I cook in a skillet toxic-free and most important... food doesnt stick`..., size its perfetc to cook for the 4 of us. I also love how it looks. I fully recomend it for any kitchen.

Great cast iron pan. It is fairly nonstick even before seasoning. One thing to note is that this pan is HEAVY.
