In Glasgow there are more than enough books by and about criminals, it's nice to see one from the other side of the fence. That being said, the book reads alot like the other sides in that the author is slightly arrogant (name dropping and boasting) and writes very simply, usually about random things. It IS a good book though and glad to see admissions of thing police "used" to get up to.

I finished the book in one session, I found it excellent and could not put
it down.

What came through for me was that it was a book about a real 'cop' and a
dedicated Detective.

I am looking forward to the next one.

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. It usually takes me ages to read a book, but I finished this in less than a week.
The author comes across as a police officer who kept digging away until the criminals were locked up.
I remember Joe Jackson from both Shettleston Primary School and Eastbank Academy. I am in awe of his extremely successful career in the police.
A first class book.
