Pheobe's doing a class project with a gorgeous guy who happens to have a very jealous ex! There's also a murder mystery she becomes intent on solving: a murder that happened in one of the buildings at the college. This is the best Charmed book in the series so far! I only started reading them a while ago and I am now hooked. The books are written in a way so you CANNOT put it down. A truly captivating read. Strongly recommended for fans of Charmed (or if you're just looking for a good book)

I have read this book a number of times, it is a good mystery novel which doesn't fail to impress the reader, the stoyline is perfectly manufactured to create tension throughut. Phoebe is studying the Halloween murders which happened in 1958 at a private university in San Francisco, there are a number of suspects whom may have been involved in the case -though a male by the name of "Ronald" was blamed in the past for the murders. Can Phoebe discover any alternative suspects?
A brillaint thriller, the only flaw I can re-call was the sub-plot involving Prue and Piper which seemed pointless and in a way disturbed the main point of the novel. A must read for charmed fans!

I must say that when I first bought this book I thought that it might be boring (after reading the blurb)but the minute I started reading from the first page....I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!! It is an excellent book and I must have read it more than 5 times. Unless you like all the warlocks and demons in the Charmed show and not Prue Piper and Phoebe this is defiantly a book for all the Charmed Fans. I won't give away the story but I'll give you a clue about what the plot of the story is: There is a strange girl that appears out of nowhere and is threatening Phoebe with spooky stuff. At first her sisters Prue and Piper think that this girl is just jealous and is playing jokes on her but when the threats get serious they realize that something is wrong and that evil is lurking behind the shadows......

Not bad
