This is the first Prodigy single ( unless you count the extremely rare What Evil Lurks ( apparently worth £500 just to own the original vinyl edition )).
This is the single that supposedly killed rave music and brought to the mainstream . Although with reports of 100,000 going to raves in 1991 I'm not surprised that it did go to the pop culture .
It starts off with an eerie ragga rendition of Charly . Not made for the pop loving country so there was a second version called the alley cat mix which was the one made popular on pirate radio stations and later the charts . Next is Pandemonium which is a very unusual track but nonetheless brilliant . And then there is the beautiful track called Your Love . A favourite with the underground clubs despite Charly being such a massive hit . Finally there was the alley cat remix which was the more popular version of the tune .
Personally I find these "choons" haven't dated in it's 10 years and feel that they are a lot better than the club music of today .
