About the Author

Paul Bright started writing stories for his own children when they were young and he kept on writing even when they left home! He is originally from Hertfordshire but currently lives with his wife in Tarragona in North East Spain. He has written several books for Little Tiger Press. Lee Wildish lives in Lancashire and has been illustrating from a very young age. He loves illustrating children's books and thinks there's nothing better than seeing people laughing at a book he's illustrated.

Only bought it a few months ago, but my son (4) loves this story & has memorised large chunks of it. We read it at least 3 times a week at the moment... he loves talking about the different places charlie visits & the animals he meets in search of his pants. and as a boy with his own favourite pants, my son understands only too well the quest to get them back! Definitely recommend for young boys with superhero leanings.

WOW! Fantastic fantasy story! This text was super for the young boys in my Yr1 class and really helped when we were learning to read with expression.

It has excitement, humour and a giant hairy surprise at the end!!!

An exciting story that will really capture the imagination of many children.
A pleasure to share with others!

I can't recommend this book highly enough. The wording has lovely rhythm, there is good humour throughout and the illustrations are superb. My son is 3 and loves this book, and it always ends with him doing the superhero actions at the end. We bought the book when he was potty training which went down especially well but would recommend at any time.
