It's a good, fun, little book. The pieces are a little hard to insert back in but my 5 year old daughter likes it.

My daughters both love 'Charlie and Lola' but I must say, the earlier books that are actually, really, completely written by Lauren Child are absolutely, totally and completely the best. What has happened in the later books? Have they become another cloned, commercialised franchise to complement our Starbucks-fuelled consciousness, or should we all just stay silent wearing our Wacky hats and accept this as the law of natural progression? What about the books themselves? My girls love them, so that'll do me!
