This is actually the second copy of this book I have bought, as the extremely reusable stickers got reused to death over the past year or so. The sticker sheet contains lots of "haircuts" which you can stick over Lola (or Charlie), as well as various hair accessories. As such, this may appeal a little more to girls than boys, depending on the child. The story is quite fun too, and has provided entertainment that more than justifies the price.

This is a great book. It's a nice length for reading with your child (don't know about you, but I get bored easily!) and there's lots of reusable stickers for use in the book, plus extras for creating your own scenes.

A good buy for all Charlie and Lola fans!

My daughter has enjoyed watching Charlie and Lola's adventures on the TV, so I was pleased to find this sticker book. It's written in a similar style to the other Charlie and Lola books, but toddlers are encouraged to add to the pictures using the stickers provided.

The book contains a sheet of over a hundred stickers plus six scenes to complete. Each scene tells part of a story, and then the reader is asked to add four or five specific stickers to help complete the picture ("The hairdresser will definitely need a trolley, a hairbrush, a comb, shampoo and scissors.") Once that is done, there are extra stickers for each scene that your child can add to further enhance the picture. As with many sticker books, it might be worth spending a few minutes on your own looking at where the stickers are supposed to go, as it's not always obvious.

The stickers in this book vary quite a lot in size, which can pose a bit of a challenge to very young children. My three-year-old daughter had no trouble with peeling off the smaller stickers (most included are only about 1 centimetre square), but she did find it hard to get some of the larger ones off the sheet without ripping them, and needed some help. The long, thin plait was especially tricky. The stickers are all surrounded with a white border, so they don't blend into the finished pictures. A week after doing the book, most of them will peel off and stick back down again, so they might be moved around a bit to create new scenes!

In terms of overall value, this book has been a hit. It kept my daughter amused for about an hour whilst she stuck all the stickers on, and she has had great fun looking through the finished book too. I'm sure we will be looking out for other titles in the series!

My daughter loved this book so we bought it for my niece - hours of fun making silly haircuts and stickers strong enough to pull off and restick lots of time.

Don't make my mistake, and buy in haste! I purchased 2 of these for gifts, not realising that all the stickers have been previously used, and are already stuck to various pages. I suppose that technically some of them are reusable, but the book has lost all of its visual appeal, and is certainly no good as a gift. Very expensive considering its virtually unusable. Going in the bin :-(

ordered this book to try and help my son overcome his fear of the hairdressers. He enjoys Charlie and Lola and loves stickers so thought this would be ideal. Only to receive a used book with no stickers. Complete waste of money
