Never disappointing. Written and read by Roald Dahl, this c.d is a family favourite sending children and tired adults asleep to dream in wonderment.

Bought this for my class of 7 year olds to listen to and built it up as being read by the real author of the story. What a boring read! Gave up and read it aloud myself.

I did not read the description so I was disappointed that this was an abridged version. That is my fault not the sellers. It does however play well and is of very high quality. I just wish it were unabridged.
