The Kid, Charlie Chaplin's first feature length film, has that magic blend of comedy, tragedy and simplicity that makes this film, made in 1921, very, very special. In today's modern age where we take for granted the special effects of films, it is important to remember how it all began. The Kid is the very first of Charlie's feature length films and one of the best. He uses his young co-host, Jakie Coogan very well and they gel together easliy in the film. A masterpiece from one of the greatest English talents ever! A MUST buy!
