Brilliant! 5 Oct 2008
Format:Hardcover
This book was excellent - as soon as I finished it I went straight back to the beginning and started again.
I think it is the best one so far and probably one of the best books I have ever read.
The ending was a bit strange as you didn't find out what happened to some of the characters - e.g: one of the students 'dies' but later comes back to life without a proper explanation.
I hope there will be another book.

The Charlie Bone series is one of the most enjoyable and easy to read I have ever come across. However, it does seem a bit like the author is just trying to extend it for as long as possible now. What started off as a quintet is now a series of 7 with an 8th to come and these last few do seem to be a bit "tagged on" at the end.
Having said that, the book itself is just what you would expect from the series and obviously a must have for Charlie Bone fans.
