This book is really an introduction to cognitive therapy and as such is quite helpful. It is a starting point in dealing with anxiety and other stress related problems. However, its principal purpose, it seems to me, is as a marketing tool for Charles Linden's other books, courses, etc.

I bought this book hoping that it would help in take command of my panic attacks. To some extent it helped, but I became increasingly irritated with the author's constant push of his other products. Essentially he is saying throughout the book that the way to get rid of your panic attacks and Anxiety is to subscribe to the Linden Method and some considerable extra cost. This book is a rather expensive advertisement for the method. It does a good job of making you realize you are not alone in your situation, and details some good suggestions for dealing with stress and anxiety, but I can't get away from the feeling that this help comes at rather an inflated cost.

I found this book to be of great help to me. It is very well written and easy to understand,the advice and techniques it gave were very effective for me, it really changed my life around, i would strongly advise this book for anyone suffering from stress or other related problems. thank you Charles for writing the book.
