1. The life span of the batteries vary to how often you use the product. Therefore you should often check the batteries by hearing the beep from the Collar Receiver and watching the indicator light on the LCD screen of the Transmitter.
2. The valid distance of remote control means the straight-line distance between the Transmitter and the Collar Receiver without obstacles in between. If there are interference source around, the actual remote control distance may vary.
3. This product is for pet training only , by training,the pet can understand the intention of its owner.Desirable results can only be achieved after a period of training.
4. Training sessions should be kept positive and short, about 10-15 minutes each time.

We have a rescue Ridgeback who can be a bit aggressive sometimes to other dogs. When in this mode she will not listen to any amount of calling. This training collar makes me feel so much more relaxed when out walking as I know that if she shows any sign of going for another dog I can at the touch of a button change her mind! I bought this unit on 27th January 2012 and thought it was excellent as it does exactly what it says on box BUT...... as I having been working my springer spaniel on not chasing it WAS effective UNTIL the unit slipped off the collar after only one week while my dog was in the woods. Cannot find the unit after much searching. Obviously is it no use to me now as the set is incomplete. What a waste of money!!!! £39.99 for a week of training. The unit should be more secure on the collar. I would like a replacement sent to me but I don't hold out hope as no doubt the company will say I cannot prove it.
