An improvement on the OEM product that does not compromise quality over price. The item arrived well packaged and well within the timescale stated for delivery. As car sat nav chargers go it is a funky piece of kit with an led red power light, a firm connection to the sat nav unit and a spring coiled lead that is both neater and also safer than the original straight cabled version. Rated five stars for build quality, improvement on OEM, price, speed of delivery and ease of ordering through amazon.co.uk

The car charger was way cheaper than the equivalent available at Maplin. However, the short chord meant that it interfered with the gear stick. If you need to mount your sat nav on the windscreen and your plug-in is by the hand break (as it is with out Volvo V50) then you will also have the same problem. We ended up removing the part of the charger that we had lost and used it to fix our original one as the lead was a better length.

Cheap and does what it says. It does not fit the navman cradle though. The gap in the cradle needs trimming with a utility knife like I did, or a dremel type tool. Works well other than that and a huge saving

cant charge whilst in cradle
Very disapointed and should have sent it back! The cable is short as is the connection which means the sat nav can't be charged whilst attached to the windowscreen.

Navman charger - lead too short
