WIthin the first 10minutes of using this product to charge my iPod, it blew up whilst it in the socket, tripping the circuit breaker for the room.
The adaptor had a distinct smell of burnt plastic and has also broken my iPod charger and damaged the iPod itself which now requires a new battery.
So, in trying to save a few pounds, I now need to spend a lot more on repairing the iPod.
Personally, I think this product should be taken off sale as it is clearly not fit for purpose.
ALL OTHER POTENTIAL BUYERS BEWARE! AVOID THIS PRODUCT!

This plug has cut down the amount of time needed to charge my MP3 player from at least 6 hours to just 35 minutes!! Incredible. I can take the plug anywhere with me, I don't need access to a computer to charge up my player, and it means I no longer have to leave the computer turned on for hours! Amazing product, and I would recommend it to anyone. Great service from the seller, item arrived quickly and without fuss. One very happy customer!

Worked fine for 6 months but today I plugged it in, all OK, and then when I plugged my phone into the other end there was a loud bang and a smell of burning from inside the unit. Into the bin it has gone. So I'm going to get a slightly more expensive replacement in the hope that it is properly wired...

Works well and does exactly what it should. Quite small and compact. Only used it once so I don't know if it will last though.

think twice about this product
I received 2 of these plugs, I used one of them on two seperate occasions and it stopped working i'm hoping the other one lasts a bit longer. I suppose you get what you pay for!

AVOID AVOID AVOID - cheap crap Blew Up !!!
It took 4 weeks to arrive, and then after 2 days it blew up. Luckily my iPhone was not plugged into it!
