I have seen from other reviewers that most purchasers seem to be (adult) collectors who are happy with this set. I bought this as a Christmas present for my nephew though.
The figures look like the actors and the Tardis itself is reasonable well made. Time will tell if it can stand the ravages of an 8 year old.......so far I am impressed as it February, he still loves it and everything is in perfect working order.

Bought this for my 10 year old to give her at Christmas but looks so good had to give her it now- a must for all Dr. Who fans.

The figures are great, but the Tardis is just a cash in until later in the year.
It's nice to have a more realistic looking Tardis from the current series, even if it is just a window change, but sadly it's missing all the electrics this time. and they haven't even made the effort to hide that. the speaker grill remains and there is a black slot where the switch should be. Clearly this is just a cheap cash in before the next series, where there will be a fully electric version of this box.
If you're a collector and love this stuff you're going to buy this anyway, because lets face it, it looks so much better.
I just wonder how much they're going to charge for the fully electric version in a few months?
