My son loves playing with the house. Although I am very disappointed in the quality and durability. For £40 you would expect something that would last longer than 2 months! The house keeps falling apart (I am forever rebuilding it) and the inside floor of house is made of cardbard which inevitablely is getting torn. Its such a shame of how "cheaply" it has been made as it could be so good.

I have seen some poor quality toys in my life but none has ever left me compelled to write a review on Christmas day. It has been 2 hours since our 4 year old opened the toy & despite several attempts by both i & his Grandfather the toy remains in several pieces. The build quality is like a 1970's Skoda, actually its not even that good. Every time one piece is put in place another piece falls apart, £40 quid for this is a complete & utter joke, having said that the frustration this toy causes means even 99p would be too expensive. My advice to anyone thinking about buying this is plain & simple DONT!!!!, however if you choose to ignore this advice make sure you buy some glue to go with it.

My five year old daughter is nuts about Scooby and she has most of the toys. The mystery machine and the various figures are pretty good value and durable but this is something else.
It looks the part and has a dozen different features that she loves to mess around with but the build quality is just terrible. It costs forty pounds and for that you would expect something more hard wearing than this. When folding the house shut it doesn't stay shut as there is no latch to hold it together. Also, the stairs are kinda awkward to get in there but I have found they will balance on their side and tuck in by the revolving bookcase. The floors are not made of cardboard as stated in a previous reveiw, the roof is. Having said that the card is reinforced with plastic and does not seem particularly flimsy. The problems we have had is with the joins of the various sections, the hinged area is forever popping out and the rood often detaches from the rest of the house. The various traps are simply falling apart or inoperative. It is such a shame as my daughter loves this and it could have been so much better. Luckily it was a gift, I would not have spend the money on it myself.
