ok...i think the description on this toy is wrong re. the scoring system...there is another karaoke microphone which it is on about...my 4 year old loves the toy...a minute of the song is enough for me....it's loud! so if it was on 24/7 it would do my head in...my little un sings along to it and loves the way her voice echos...simple enjoyable product....don't think elder children would like it so much....best for between 3-6 years old.....over time she has learnt the words to the song herself....true about the batteries...you need a small screwdriver but so do a lot of my kids other toys.....sewing machine screwdriver works perfect....

I bought this Hanana Montana microphone for my seven year old daughter, which she loved, however come boxing day her two year sister got the most enjoyment out this product. I was dissapointed that I had to purchase my own batteries at an additonal cost that didn't last long (even though they were of a major brand). There is only one song to sing-a-long. I don't think this product is educational at all and more suited for under fives than over fives and it uses a lot of power, hence alot of more additional money. On a positive note my two year daughter did learn the song along-side some good dance moves.

Never has my seven year old been so disappointed with a toy. A previous reviewer said their child was bored after 5 minutes. My daughter was bored after just 3! Why? Because the microphone only has 60 sixty seconds of music from ONE song to sing along to! A complete rip-off product. Whats more the battery compartment is a pain too. I had to go out and buy an ultra small screw-driver to open it. We hever had that issue with any toy before. My conclusion - complete waste of money and not recommended.

not a good microphone
This is not a game at all, there is no light up LCD that i can see, which means there isnt a scoring system when you sing along with the 1 song. Read more
