The Bear itself works well and my daughter likes it. However, the wand to switch it on and off does not work properly. We tried 2 different wands and the same thing happens. It works OK at first but then stops. There appears to be a bit of a design flaw that stops the battery making proper contact in the wand and hence it does not work. It is a bit frustrating for my 3 year old daughter when she tries to use the wand and it does not work.

Great Idea my daughter loves it...shame about the quality! Unfortunately this is my third one, as I have had to send two back, first only worked intermittently, second stopped working up after a few weeks, and this one now seems a bit dodgy, and seen as it only sits in the corner of her bed its not down to a 3 year olds mistreatment.

bought 3 bears (not from amazon) ,1 didnt work at all. 2 stopped working within 12 weeks,
wands sometimes works, velcro really sharp on the back.
had to replace as children NOW insist they ARE scared of the dark!
