My daughter loves the Zhu Zhu pets. Roxie is funky and quite cute (as far as toy hamsters go). Certainly keeps my 6 year old daughter entertained so can't grumble.

never buy at xmas, it was twice as dear,
its a good little toy for the price,
but the accessory's are a complete rip off , why is that?

My review is based on the response of the gift recipient who absolutely is ecstatic over these creatures. They are not my favorite, however if she is thrilled, then that is what matters as long as the toy is safe. I do question their longevity, and shall be surprised if they last.
