My daughter saw this on television and wanted one for her birthday, she waited two months to get her hands on it and she was so bitterly dissapointed by the product!
The machine itself is simply not powerful enough to chop up even the smallest pieces of banana (the softest fruit!!) all this product does is spin the mixer round in the milk - it does not have the power needed to make a smoothie.
Stay well clear - even having followed the troubleshooting and user guide we could not get it to work at all!
Waste of money, waste of time, all we were left with was a very dissapointed daughter

I HAD ORIGINALLY PURCHASED THIS AT A DEARER PRICE FROM A COMPETITOR AND IT AS A TOTAL WASTE OF EFFORT. I THEN HAD TO PURCHASE A CHEAP ADULT ONE AND WE DECORATED IT WITH STICKERS TO MAKE IT MORE APPEALING THAN A PLAIN OLD SHOP ONE. WE HAVE HAD HOURS OF FUN WITH THIS AND AT HALF THE PRICE OF THIS THING IT IS STILL GOING STRONG

This really is a disgrace. A smoothie maker needs to be able to make fruit into a smooth drink, what it actually does is manouvre bits of fruit slowly and deliberately around the jar, barely bruising it. The recipes do say fruit needs to be chopped into small pieces, if you want to make a smoothie they'll need to be liquidised first! I'd ask for my money back but it's less hassle just to drop it into the bin and apologise to my daughter for buying her such rubbish.
