We nearly didn't buy this because of the reviews here, but i'm glad we saw it in a shop and eventually did buy it for our daughter because it is fantastic. The ladders on the bed do need a tiny amount of super glue, and yes, you do need to help your child set it up initially (our daugther is just 3 and can open it but needs help to put the stairs in, but it stands up on it's own, provides hours of entertainment and my daughter thoroughly loves making up Peppa Pig stories...

More robust than the original house and better designed but you will not require any batteries as it is not electronic.Its a plastic house with plastic characters but just redesigned, no elecronic sounds or noises(maybe ELECTRONIC should be removed from description so not to be misleading or false advertising)

My daughter had this house brought for her birthday and loves it. The walls that fold down are a little flimsy but the items inside are of good quality. As the other reviews have stated 'the is not electronic', so don't expect switches or noises to work. The product description needs to be altered as its misleading.
