Skipping takes on a whole new dimension as you skip using Rainbow skipper. The light up rope creates a colourful 3D light bubble around you as you skip . Using the dual control you can easily select single, multi or combined colour effects as you skip. Select from 25 colour patterns. Requires 4 x AA batteries (not included).



Product Description

Skipping takes on a whole new dimension as you skip using the stunning electronic Rainbow Skipper light rope! The Rainbow Skipper features 25 colour combinations! Cutting edge LED phase technology in both skipping handles means you control the fast changing multi-hued lights. Space age nano technology polymers allow the light generated in the handles to be transmitted along the length of the rope and visible along it's entire length! The visible beam creates a colourful 3D bubble of light around you as you skip and when two of you turn the skipper for another player, you can both change the lights together or independently. (Image of illuminated rope is a simulated representation of the colours and effects only.)

My daughter loved this and we all spent ages watching her from the house as she lit up the garden with a fantastic light show. Is a great toy because it encourages outdoor excercise at a time when we find it all too easy to stay indoors. Would be too short for older children i.e. 5ft tall and over which is a shame because I would have played with it too.

Looks great, and much brighter than I expected. But the one I received had a problem... The rope didn't feely twist in the end of the handle so after a few skips it became knotted up. A bit of lubrication (vasoline) in the end where the rope goes sorted it out. To turn off the lights you have to press and hold the button on each handle for a few seconds.

It's a pretty skipping rope that my 6 year old god-daughter loves to use. So far it seems pretty durable, so no complaints at all.

My daughter is 6 and she cannot use the skipping rope - it is too hard to skip with and it lights up when it wants to. Would definitely not recommend.
