My ten-year old got this small set for Christmas. She enjoyed constructing it and has played with it quite a lot. She liked it sufficiently to use her Christmas money to buy two more sets from the same series, which can be played with together. This fits perfectly with Lego, and is of similar excellent quality. Since the EU ruled a few years ago that other manufacturers can duplicate Lego (but without the logo), there are a number of toy manufacturers making toys with the same construction, and Character Building is one of those. Whether the original inventor of Lego, who was apparently a pacifist, would approve of HM Forces is anyone's guess, however!! That aside, I would recommend this toy to children approx seven years and upwards.

This was bought for my 7 year-old son for Christmas. He really enjoyed building it (although he managed to break one piece). He has a few other pieces from the series and plays with them all together. All in all this is quite a good toy, although his favourite toys are still LEGO.
