I bought this on one resounding rating, the pictures looked good, and the specifications read well. Unfortunately, I found this feeder of poor design and limited use: the hanging loop is loosely fitted into the plastic tube, so when the lid is raised up the wire to open the feeder, the loop readily "pops-out"; the feeder is only suitable to deliver very small seeds; and not many birds feed at this feeder, as they find the rod "perch" difficult to stand-on/balance.

This is a good garden bird feeder. A simple design with sturdy construction. I bought plastic ones in the past and I found that the wee perches on the sides always broke off, mostly due to the pigeons muscling their way in and the occasional squirrel trapeze troupe passing through. This one's only been up a couple of days but just from handling it I can tell that it will last a good deal longer. If it doesn't I'll let you know.

Speedy delivery and efficient service. Quite a reasonable servicable feeder but not quite as good quality as one for just a few pounds more.

Chapelwood Stainless Steel feeder
