This feeder keeps the birds happy as more can fit onto it and feed at the same time. The only thing I have against it is the way the top comes off when filling the feeder but apart from that it's very good and strong.

The bird feeder arrived quickly and although they sent the wrong size one, 16" instead of the 12" one i ordered, i just decided you could get more birds on it that way! Overall as other people have said it has an odd fitting at the top (the lid doesn't cover the top of the netting bit, but sits above it acting like an umbrella!) otherwise the item is as described.

With it's stainless steel construction it is far superior to those plastic versions that eventually disintegrate.
It's easy to fill with either whole or half peanuts but don't use granules because they fall through the holes (not unexpectedly).
I recommend getting the dish that screws in underneath because blue tits (and the like) can be jolly messy feeders and have no issue with chucking to one side what they don't want.
As the title says this is great but 16" is not as long as I would like so will be looking for a longer one in the near future.
