Fast paced read set in a futuristic society where life is still the same. Kali, an adopted High Caste female doesn't fit in. Because of her heritage and psychological ticks she is an outsider in a society that craves perfection. Kali must do certain actions in sets of three and can perfectly repeat any physical action she sees. She gets the love she needs from her two fathers, her best friend, Max, and her FetchMe - Howl. While out one day she meets Blue, a genetically enhanced male that she is instantly enamored of. Little do either of them know, but they are not what they seem. On their first date Kali is abducted, while Blue is enlightened to what he really is as aliens launch an attack on Earth. He is a Hybrid --a mix of human and Novae DNA and the Novae plan to enslave Earth and make slaves of humans. Kali must learn who she really is to become what she was created for; to save them all. Throughout this tale there are constant and unexpected turns as Kali and Blue do everything in their power to reach other and save those they love. I am hoping against hope that this is the beginning of another series for Fletcher.

This story line was new and refreshing for me. I will definitely buy and enjoy the sequel. Since we're left with space aliens havings taken over the Earth and a band of skilled individuals formed to fight them, there will probably be a long series.
