I bought this set about three months ago to relive my teenage years in the early 90's when I used to collect Games Workshop products. Firstly, the contents of the box is effectively that of a model kit and does require glue and paint and possibly other tools like files and pliers. There are 28 'characters' (chaos marines) and a tank and some may think that the price is therefore a bit steep. However, those are familiar with GW products will know that a lot of time and patience is required to actually construct and paint the models and in all, you could easily spend a long time with the product and suddenly realise that the quality of the models (i.e how they are cast and moulded) is of a high standard. Those who are not familiar with GW products, I strongly suggest you visit their website first to look at how well these models can look if put together and painted properly. I have given it four stars to reflect the price once you have also bought paint and glue as it may appear steep to some but only just. Please note the following:

* Glue is required (sold seperatly).
* Paint required (Sold seperatly).

This is a good starter kit for those who want to get SERIOUSLY involved with Games Workshop. For those who are casual modellers, this also provides a bit of fun but it is completely different than say Airfix or Revell models as there is more detail on the models and they do require a lot more attention to paint.
