Product Description

Product Description

We have a choice: Breakdown or Breakthrough. In THE CHAOS POINT revered author and systems theorist Ervin Laszlo tells us that we are at a critical juncture in history, a 'decision-window' where we face both the danger of global collapse and the opportunity of worldwide renewal. According to Laszlo we have six to seven years to head off unsustainable trends that would lead to a 'tipping point' beyond which there is no turning back. After this tipping point we either evolve to a safer, more sustainable world, or the social, economic and ecological systems that frame our life break down. This is the Chaos Point, but this need not be the end of the world, only the end of a phase of the world beyond which a new world could dawn. In today's decision-window we have a unique chance of creating that new world and this pioneering book tells us what healing and renewal means, and how each of us can help in achieving it.

This is an important book by Nobel prize nominee Ervin Laszlo. In it he asks us to think about the world we live in - its global problems and issues - environment, population growth, destruction of ecology and farmlands, terrorism and so much else that is happening all around us which most of us are in denial about. Laszlo says we have only a short period to make a difference - and it is up to each one of us to recognise the problems and work together to see what changes we can make while there is still time.

This book will open your eyes - and you will never think about the world we inhabit in the same way ever again.

This is a book enables the reader to understand New Science and see and learn to see our world though diffent eyes.
The teachings in this book should be taught in every school, college and university for our species depends on a shift in consciousness and I could not think of any one more clear or committed to promoting this world shift than Ervin Lazslo

Read it you, will not regret it and you will certainly learn a great deal.

Marvellous book about how our thoughts shape our world - not sure I buy all the quantum stuff but the psychological points are really well made.
