I ordered this yesterday through 'Discountedtoyou' and received it today which is pretty impressive in itself. I have a couple of things I need it's use for both in the home and in my office so it will not be sitting idle. One of the plus points was that it came with a 4gb memory card so I didn't have to worry about ordering one seperately.
Ok build quality - the clock feels very cheap and pretty lightweight as do the buttons and setting it etc all feels a bit 'clunky' but it works fine.
Function - I've spent around a half hour playing around and in looking at the quality of the video and sound I have to say for the money it certainly does the job and I am in no way disappointed. It will be interesting to see if it functions as well in a 'real' situation but my hopes are pretty high. There is a blue light that flashes for a short period when the camera is in motion detection mode but to be honest unless someone has any experience of these things I don't think you would guess in a million years that this was a video camera hiding in a clock. The still images are of a very decent quality too.
The one thing I would say is READ THE MANUAL thoroughly before you play around with it.
Overall I'd have to give this top marks due to the results I've had so far.

Although this product looks good and doesn't appear out of place in most settings, it has a couple of annoying flaws.
As an alarm clock it is impossible to turn off the alarm before it goes off if you wake up early without a lot of loud beeping, not ideal if you have a partner. And as for the speaking clock button on top, which you can't turn off, what a pain, unless you are blind it's pointless. When you grope around in the dark for the clock the first thing you find is that infernal button, which leads the clock to shout the time at you, you jump out your skin and the wife tells you to shut that thing up.
The spy camera part is reasonable, however the movement sensor does not work in fairly low light, ie. dull gloomy British weather. The blue light is such a bad design too, it flashes when the camera is ready to record, but no ordinary flashing, the plastic of the clock is so thin the whole clock lights up in a dark room. It reminds me of the blue light on a police car, so not very secret spy like, and just a bit obvious. Would be good if it flashed when the alarm went off, it would certainly wake me up thinking there's a police car in my front garden.
The remote control is the best part of the set, good range, although when recording you need to see the blue light to see whether you have turned the camera on or off.

Nice clock - annoying voice - no volume control. Good storage device - but spy camera,... no. It has a flashing blue light on the front when it is recording so is really obvious to anybody with their eyes open !

dissapointed that camera has flashing light when recording on motion censor and limited record time not long enough but at least it was not expensive

good enough to do the job
with the included memory it gives you about 1.30 h which is good. the quality of the product is just acceptable. the sound is really really annoying. overall good product.
