Fantastic 25 Nov 2009
I bought this to use my 430 canon speedlite off camera with my canon 40D and it works a treat! I've since bought an ezbox (portable softbox) from ebay and I now have a fully portable outdoor studio light!

I had reservations about buying this product due to its low price, but i have been plesently suprised!

The trigger and receiver come in a basic cardboard box with no instructions, however it's not rocket science to set it up. The build quality of the product is what you would expect for the £20 market; both trigger and receiver have hardly any weight to them so i would find a designated padded pocket in your camera bag for them, you dont want them shaking around!

The performance is however, fantastic. Experimenting with them right out of the box i have had no problems and no mis-fires. the range seems adequate for my main field (action sports photography)and the contact with the hot shoe is solid and tight.

Last point - For the sake of 'economies of scale' i would suggest buying the Trigger and 2 receiver pack, a little more expensive but allows you the freedom to upscale your strobist photography very easily.

for the low price they ask,This is a great buy and i would recommend it to everyone. It is not for the high volume professional,But for keen photographers it is a good piece of kit.I have used them for quite a while now and they have never let me down.
