This adapter can replace any central positive polarity 12V 5A (or less than 5A current ) adapters, e.g. 12V 2A, 12V 3A, 12V 4A, 12V 4.16A._______Suitable for most of LCD monitors, TVs, DVDTVs, and other equipment.

The product was the new version of the original supplied with the TV when bought. The original adaptor was breaking down after about 5 years. The new version was obviously compatible and had updated technology. It was delivered expeditiously and the price was very good. I would recommend this product.

Quality replacement item for one that gave up the ghost after 5 years. I was about to buy a new TV when I spotted this on Amazon so I thought I would give it a try. Ultra quick delivery as usual and a better product than the previous one supplied with the TV. Saved me buying a new TV for the kitchen.
Amazon Verified Purchase
Monitor had been flickering, then would not switch on. Traced problem to a failed 4A adapter (not a CWT one). Replaced it with this CWT adapter, and it now works perfectly. I picked the CWT because I have another monitor that has used a CWT for many years and it was offered at a good price for a high quality adapter. There is no power lead supplied with this CWT, but I was replacing an existing adapter that also used a UK kettle lead, so I did not need or want one.
