Format:Audio CD
If you have bought any of Ane's previous CDs and you are considering adding this album to your collection then go ahead and you won't be disappointed. Every single track is a gem and her voice and guitar playing will totaly enchant you.
If this is the first time you are considering buying any of Ane Brun's music this is the best first experience you'll ever have. If you don't believe me check her out on her space and you'll rush back to buy this CD.
If I was tortured to chose only one favourite track from this CD I would have to pick Changing Of The Seasons. The lyrics are poignant and the performance touched me deeply. But don't waste any time reading my words, go get this CD NOW!!!!!!!!

I love Ane Brun. I think her voice and music are very unique and it's a joy to listen to her.
Similar to: Laura Marling, Nick Drake, Beth Orton, Melanie Safka, Dory Previn, Wendy McNeil, so if you like them you're sure to love Brun. Like I said though, there's something that sets her apart from even them and puts her into her own genre.

With this CD, Ane Brun has established herself as one of the best female singer-songwriters around today. Every track is thoughtful, creative, original, powerful. Combining a melancholy, but by no means despairing, melody, with a poignant and intelligent lyricism, these songs gradually reveal their richness by repeated listening. Ane's voice is perfectly suited to the rich, deep emotions displayed through her music, but there is no playing to the gallery or self-indulgence - Ane is a serious musician for serious people, and the net effect is some of the most beautiful, haunting, mesmerising music you've ever heard which resonates in the heart and mind long after playing.
