If you're in therapy sometimes you may change. If you ever are lucky enough to meet a "Redecision Therapist" or choose to act on the information in this book then you are in serious danger of changing, in fact as Julia Baird (a redecision therapist) says, "think long and hard and if you don't want to change then you're in the wrong place.
Changing Lives Through Redecision Therapy sets out to teach really effective change strategies and delivers on many different levels.
It has a fantastic chapter on depression and has quite an unorthodox view - especially around "cure" so if you want to get better then this book is for you.
If you can get your head around the concept of injunctions and the limits that we impose upon ourselves out of awareness then you are on the path to wellness...
As for my usual "one sentence therapy" reflection this book has many and the one that stands out for me is...
"Are you willing to pretend you are the part of you that loves you? And say what is lovable and what is nice about you?"
As I teach nice... This really stood out for me. So why not take a chance and choose to change...
