For anyone who actually DOES remember jumpers for goalposts, and 20-a-side games down the local park; check this out and remember what footy used to make you feel like. Mike Bayly spent a season trawling round non-league games and meeting the true stars of the game to create a book that should be read ahead of all of the pathetic 'autobiographies' of rat-boys that play in the premier league. In tears because you 'only' get £50,000 a week to play footy? Get down to your local club and see what it's like there instead.

Yeah, Yeah and more Yeah!

Mike Bayly touches areas that other writers can only dream about. This book is a must for any real football fan. Bayly clearly has poured considerable effort and passion into this piece which will transplant each and every reader to a place where the Prawn Sandwich brigade dare not venture.

An extremely worthy book - the proceeds of which will go to an extremely worthy cause. More of the same please - lovely stuff.

This is one of the best football books I've ever read. It combines a fantastic breadth of knowledge with well researched insights into the clubs featured. I highly recommend it !
