What a cracker. We Are What We Do have done it again. A thoughtful read about making small, do-able actions. They're so easy that I'm doing some of them myself. It rubs off too, my family and colleagues are following suit and taking on their own actions, as well as developing some new ones of their own. Great stuff - get a copy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Change the World - without leaving your desk. 11 Sep 2006
As a big fan of "Change the World for a Fiver" I was delighted to see this new book from the same team on sale at the weekend.

Picking up where the first book left off "Change the World 9-5" features fifty simple actions that if we all did together would make a big impact - practical things like shutting down the computer and unplugging mobile 'phone chargers to save energy. There are also a selection of more "personal" things like sharing lunch with a colleague, or bringing your kids to work for a day.

I think this book a magnificent piece of work, the tone is perfect - light hearted, inspirational and occasionally very moving. The illustrations, design and production quality are first class and the addition of little extra bits inside the book - such as stickers and a poster make it a fun and memorable book.

This is one that might turn up in a few friend's Christmas stockings come December.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great present 8 Dec 2006
I bought a copy of this book for colleagues in my office to share in place of buying Christmas cards for them (which I always think a somewhat wasteful and pointless gesture for people you see everyday). Everyone seems thrilled with the idea, and are spending their lunchbreaks reading through it.
