Product Description

Synopsis

If you take a devoted wife and mother and push her out of her cosy home in Australia into a whole series of crises and new situations in England, don't expect her to be unmarked by it. If this trusting wife then finds out about her husband's philandering, you can expect big changes to occur - especially when she realizes he's just had an affair with her best friend. And if all this happens at a time when she is winning acclaim as an embroidery artist and has just come into an inheritance that will give her financial independence, then the outcome of the trip may not be quite what her manipulative husband had bargained for.

From the Author

This is my first modern relationships novel and it was fascinating to write in a slightly different genre to my usual historical sagas. I believe it still has the 'Anna Jacobs touch' however ie strong characterisation and relationships.

I wrote it after we'd spent nearly three months living in Dorset on one of our house swap arrangements - at the same time of year as this book. So any descriptions you see of countryside are what I saw and loved on my first ever visit to a very beautiful part of England.

About the Author

Anna Jacobs grew up in Lancashire but emigrated to Western Australia with her family and now lives on a waterside block where dolphins frolic at the foot of her garden. The house is filled with thousands of books, because not only is she addicted to writing them, but also to reading them. 'Change of Season' is Anna's 26th novel published.
