I have to confess that I read this book once and then immediately over again,as I was dubious to wether I could/would comprehend what the writer was proposing. (Perceive It, Believe It, Acheive It.)
My analogy would be that of an Advanced Driving Lesson, whereby the first few chapters are theoretical and initially daunting, once the book steps up a gear and exposes your potential, with an insightful humour and much appreciated links to relative web pages ,your confidence grows and you start to put into practise the simple and logical guidlines. Instead of looking for 'signposts', it is as though you no longer need them as you are Going Somewhere , with a purpose and no longer need to look in the rear view mirror!

It's the only word that can accurately describe how this book and it's technique work on you. One month after completing the suggested exercise i got a new job. After working for three years as a presenter in a small local channel, I was offered a position next to the greek tv-queen in a prime-time 3-hour program. Moreover, I was assigned my very own 15-minute daily column within the show, with material I chose and decide is interesting (you can watch here[...]). I strongly believe that "Change directions" can give you just the right boost to bring your life exactly where you want it to be. Enjoy and keep on changing!

Change for many people appears on the face of it as a simple process they go through in life, some people find it hard and some people find it easy. Change directions is almost a way of conditioning, understanding and developing your minds process of change into a simple, understandable and REALISTIC process that feels more natural than the hard hitting, fact giving self help books or seminars you might attend.

I read another review about this book which explained how the book fills the gap between great advice and knowledge of what you need to do and then doing it. This book in many ways not only fills the gap between the knowledge and the practice it actually reconfigures the brain in a linear, straight forward and targeted way that makes the process of making change and setting goals easy to put in to practice and not only that. The change actually happens while your reading it. If you have ever been to a seminar or watched a comedian on stage talking about life experiences and have sat there nodding your head, smiling or laughing because you know how true it is or because you can relate to it so well you will find yourself doing this while you read through this book but the magic that happens not only brings out these emotions it makes an impact and brings together the change as you progress onto the second half of the book...

The analogies and scenarios provided by Georges are artistically pieced together yet thought provoking and relative to all it's readers. For me, Change Directions is the SatNav for life, it quite simply helps you to find your way and make all the right turns without stopping in confusion...

Excellent read and one for keeps!

Thanks Geroges

Got hold of this book as it was recommend to me.
The biggest thing that came across straight away is that
Change isn't personal, it is something that happens to everyone.
I was resisting change which then made me feel like my
Everyday challenges were more than most people had.
I now understand with change comes plus and minus.
This book has helped me see the plus!

I bought this book over a year ago. I had gone from being someone very fit to someone who was struggling to maintain her health. As a general practitioner, I understood already that it was my own mental health that was driving a lot of my physical problems. I decided to use this book to 'get myself better'. You do really have to work through the book very carefully and do things exactly as Georges explains. This may mean reading slowly, gradually & when you can concentrate. You must be very honest with yourself & careful with what you do include & exclude into the lists.
A year later my life has been revolutionized. Yes it took some tough & courageous decisions, but I am now well on the mend physically & emotionally and starting a new life that has real abundance in it both with my work & personal life.
This book really can change lives & enable you to be & live the life you want. The subconscious mind is incredibly powerful and if used in a positive way can change whatever you choose.

Setting a goal and reaching it seems quite a simple concept. But how many of us do it within a recognisable and beneficial timeframe, without too much pain and loss in other areas of our life? I recommend you read Georges Philips's book Change Directions as it could give you the impetus to change your life for the better. I set a personal goal 3/4 years ago with Georges and in 2011 I won a Bafta. It made me very happy! I'm hopeful that you, by reading this book, will hit one of your life goals too - sooner rather than later. Why delay?

This book is something of a life raft. It is written in a straight forward-clear no nonsense manner. At times this books impact was/is very much like a lighthouse through fog. As someone who is in the process of changing directions- it is a book which I am using as a reference tool. Reading the book precipitated and is a key assist mechanism in my unfolding change and growth. It has helped me make those initial small changes and will continue to be play a part moving forward. A highly useful and powerful read. Thank you so very much indeed for its creation.
