For anyone who is wondering how I can write a book review before it's been released I bought this book a few weeks ago during a stay at one of the Champneys resorts!
This book would make a lovely present for anyone who has been to a Champneys resort, would like to go or is just generally interested in health, well-being and pampering.
The book itself is well written and has contributions from nutritionist, chefs and fitness experts. The book is in an easy to follow format and takes an holistic approach to general wellness through what you eat, how you move, loving yourself (not as fluffy and tree-huggy as it sounds!), well-being and escape.
Throughout the book there are quizzes to assess whereabouts you fit into the subject. There are also seasonal tips, monthly suggestions, weekly plans and many many recipes and home beauty treatment suggestions along with exericse ideas and nutritional information. The book is pitched at the right level whether you're new to the idea of health spas, want to learn more about the Champneys experience or just looking for ideas of how to relax and unwind. Definitely worth a read, a coffee table book that you dip in and out of, complimented by beautiful photography.
