As the other reviewer said this is a well made item and it is an appealing design but i do agree it is quite dim! esp if you use it during the day.
It is also extremely sensitive to touch when warm which can be frustrating if you are plucking your brows quite close up and accidently touch it (anywhere) and it turns off!! ...even so it is a lovely piece to add to you dressing table so i kept mine.

I am a big fan of Champneys' skincare products so when I was looking for an illuminated and magnifying mirror I bought theirs with absolute brand confidence. Unfortunately, whilst the mirror is attractive and very well made, the light level is totally inadequate, even on the highest of the 3 settings. My search for illumination continues!

In my opinion, the Champney's illuminated mirror is the best on the market.
It is a sturdy, classy design, in satin nickel, it's 7x magnification is perfect and I love the three touch light levels the brightest being my favored one. (One of my biggest complaints I had with my previous mirror was that it was never bright enough!) You have to get used to accidentally touching it and turning it off or on! But I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
